The
volunteer opportunities at the Family Violence Program
are quite literally spread out. At our main office we offer
services in Court Advocacy, Children Services, Adult
Services, and Abuse in Later Life. All of
these services allow opportunity for volunteers to
enter and assist with the day-to-day operations.
For those
individuals that would like to get more of a hands-on
experience with the “outside the office” workings,
we have New Directions (our safe house for battered
women) and My Sister’s Closet (a resale clothing
outlet for women, men and children).
All of these
places would be more than happy to have individuals
seeking to volunteer and make a difference.
